Purchased from Bergdorf Goodman in Manhattan for my august 2008 wedding, it is an original Jenny Lee dress. It is very versatile and modern, comes with a removable train that attaches to the back and also with a DETACHABLE "half ribbon" detail that makes this dress even more special. The dress is IVORY and 100% silk taffeta with a silk underlay. The taffeta has a beautiful ruching down to the hips that is very flattering. It is floor length with a small train, and a very simple bustle. it has buttons down the back of the dress over the zipper which make the dress even more special. It is from the 2008 collection. The dress was professionally cleaned right after my wedding and also just now by Meurice Garment. On the back, right at the tip of the train, the lining is ripped, but it can be easily replace by a new lining. The silk and silk TAFFETA are IMPECCABLE (thank God there was a lining to protect the dress and i highly RECOMMEND to fix the lining to protect the train once more). The rest of the dress is in excellent condition.
