I went to Kleinfeld because I lived just two blocks away. This was the first dress I tried on (chosen by the sales agent), and I fell in love before it was even completely on because the fabric took my breath away.
When fastened and fitted, I loved the classic elegance of the bodice and knew this dress was the one. I tried on several others, but none came close. Altered by Kleinfeld to fit my hourglass shape.
Unfortunately, I don't have the old alterations records, so I have to guess the measurements. The design is simple enough that alterations to fit you will be easy enough for a seamstress.
I had the bust raised an inch so I wouldn't be hanging out the top or tugging it up. I have the exact lace bolero size M (never worn, it was a backup) if you would like that, too.
Dress professionally cleaned by Kleinfeld ($595), and it has been in their preservation box ever since. It is in excellent condition!
