Beautiful Strapless Sweetheart Beaded A-Line Wedding Dress
My dress was originally a model dress for bridal shows. I absolutely loved it!
From the designer: Strapless taffeta A-line gown, Alexandra features stunning allover beading and intricately embroidered motifs, highlighting the couture draping from the sweetheart neckline to the bodice and down to the softly flared skirt. Alexandra also includes a slimming corset back bodice and chapel length train.
It needed a lot of work, but I found a great seamstress who made the dress like new. She replaced:
- the backing
- lacing loops
- lacing straps
- the underneath tulle
- the bottom hem
- some of the beads sewn back on
- some of the interior support needed to be fixed as well.
It was very comfortable! The support of the dress hugged my shape well, but at the same time, I didn't feel like I couldn't breathe or was wearing a corset. I got tons of compliments on my dress, and it worked well for my winter wedding.
It was professionally cleaned after the ceremony, and no damage occurred during the wedding day. It was a great purchase!
