Elegant Lace Wedding Dress with Flowy Skirt
The style of the dress is a modified a-line that hugs the hips and then spreads out like a true a-line. The strapless, sweetheart neckline is perfect and it hugs in all the right places. I fell in love with this dress because it's romantic. It has lace and crystal details within layers of beautiful rich fabric that create depth.
Alterations: When I got married, I was a size 2 but had to order a size 12 in order to accommodate my large bust. Therefore, this dress would be good for anyone between sizes 2-8, especially with the corset back. It was taken in, the neckline was modified to make it a full sweetheart instead of the original straight-across piece, and it was hemmed.
Everything is original to the dress except there was a small tear on the train during the wedding that was fixed by the original seamstress and repaired with a piece of matching applique - you would never be able to tell.
It really is a fairy tale dress.
